Run with us on Thanksgiving and don’t worry if you can’t make it to Ann Arbor. Here’s the scoop…
Matt was planning on running the Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot Ann Arbor with his oldest daughter, Riley. Matt had run many Turkey Trots in the past. Dave Adamec ran in several with Matt.
Well, Dave will be running in Matt’s honor, in Ann Arbor, and welcome anyone who wants to join and run with him (and Riley)
And if you can’t make it to Ann Arbor, or you’re not quite up for a 5K … don’t worry. Just run!!! Run anywhere you are on Thanksgiving day and share a photo or a post. It can be as simple as a picture of you and how far you ran or a screenshot of your Fitbit or phone app.

Run or walk any distance at any speed. Even if a 1/4 mile walk is all you can do, knowing so many of us our out there thinking of Matt would be greatly appreciated.
Dave Adamec made shirts. 180 were ordered! So we know at least 180 will be running, walking, and being active on Thanksgiving. The shirt’s design is taken from Don’s eulogy he gave at Matt’s funeral. Those words perfectly capture what Matt believed in and how he lived his life.
